Thanksgiving!

I can say with some confidence that I may be one of the most thankful moms on the planet this year. Looking back in reflection of the past year, I can’t believe where we are today. Not that I really know exactly where we are, but at this moment … life feels amazing! I can also say that I am one of the most blessed moms on the planet. This time last year, Noah was getting ready for massive radiation and chemo. He was so sick. He was 35ish pounds. Now he is 50. I can’t believe what all he has lived through this past year and to see him today (in a hat :-) ) you wouldn’t know it. I am amazed by him everyday… no every second! Tonight, he and I were saying prayers… talking about life, death, being thankful and living everyday to the fullest! (Of course it’s always about me dying and him being sad – just like a normal child does.) He was telling me all of the things he was thankful for and I was just staring into his eyes. (Eyes with big, thick, inch long eyelashes!) I am amazed each day. We prayed for protection of his mind and spirit and every one of our prayers has been answered. He is so happy! I want to share his last month with you and share my thankfulness! Karate (he LOVES Karate!!!), our beach trip (Landin’s first black eye,) Halloween, the Symphony, Shooting with Big Grandpa (yes a real gun – don’t judge me :-) ), Disney Quest, our New York trip – Noah piloting  a helicopter of NYC (Amazing!!!!), St. Patrick’s Cathedral, backstage at the Lion King!!! He is so happy and he is living!!! We are living!!! Thank you Lord – Praise God for Whom all Blessing Flow!!! And I want to thank all of you. I could not write this without you and your support. We have been given so many gifts by so many wonderful people. Thank you all and God Bless you!

I pray that all of you and your families have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy each other!

We’re finished

And Noah was SO brave!!!! They had a bad emergency and they weren’t going to be able to do the MRI with anesthesia – 2 to 3 hours, maybe not at all. So they asked if he could do it without and he did! Two hours!!! I hooked up the computer with all of his favorite music to special headphones, he and I went in and stared at each other for 2 hours in a mirror bolted above his head. He was amazing and I was praying!!! All I could see was his eyes (and His eyes!)
Dr. Smith has a super high fever, so needless to say, we didn’t see her (pls pray for her – she needs it!!! Not only for the fever, but more for what she does on a daily basis! :-) )

We are going up to see Hillary.

Ok we are done and there has been slight to no change which is good!! Really… Great! And the radiologist is back to thinking that we may be looking at dead cells again!!! Praise the Lord!! (This may make us too late for religion class tonight.)

Thank you God – we are so blessed!!!!!

Now, for my next posting…. Pictures Galore!!!! They range from karate, to Halloween, to Noah piloting a helicopter over Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty!!!!!

Going to feed the babies!!!

Time flies…..

Time flies when you’re having fun…. I have SO many wonderful things to post (and I promise I will…more of my selfishness!) But today we need prayers. We came in from NYC last night, got the car at the airport and drove straight to Gainesville for Noah’s MRI. Lulu is with us this time.

Dear Heavenly Father – Please be with my son. Please remove the cancer and let him grow up to serve you. I ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
